Hello. My name is Mike and I am the Denver Firearms Examiner. I would just like to introduce myself a bit and let you know where you can read my articles.
I grew up in Northern Minnesota hunting, fishing and camping a lot with my family. Upon my graduation of High School I went into the Army to be a Military Police Officer, a 5 year enlistment, where I got to travel all over and see many great things. Because I was injured I exited the Army and eventually moved to Montana and Idaho. While in Montana I was an Emergency Services dispatcher for 3 years, I then resigned to go back to school for Criminal Justice, and moved to Idaho where I got married. I am not in transition to Metropolitan State College of Denver to complete my Criminal Justice degree, possibly along with some others, and support my wife in her grueling Pharmacy Doctorate.
Having a life long interest in firearms and being raised with firearms, I learned a lot from my father, who continues to teach me something new every time we talk about firearms. When in the United States Army I learned a great deal about firearms working so much with light machine guns, assault rifles, and the crew serve weapons of the MK-19 and M-2 .50 machine gun, also becoming an armorer.
