THUMBS UP on the Maxpedition recommendation.

I use the L.E.O. version of that very same bag as my EDC bag when I don't want to open carry or put the piece in a IWB holster.

Plus, the main compartment is roomy enough that it makes a great ammo bag for going to the range.

What do you have on you at all times, to get you to your car or home where your BOB is? A bag you keep in your work place to help you get to your car or home.
