Private and Membership Ranges

Blue Water Sportsman’s Association is a full-service sportsman’s club featuring a wide variety of shooting activities. Offering both outdoor and indoor ranges as well as a variety of shooting leagues, there is something to do.

Membership costs: $267/year with a one-time $400 Capital Contribution Fee

Archery Range - Various targets, including full sized deer targets are scattered in a tree covered area. Firing is done from a small platform and is informal.

Clubhouse - kitchen facilities, rest rooms and a large meeting area with tables and folding chairs.

The new Hoover Tactical Firearms location is a former grocery store, converted into a spacious retail area, and private shooting range (with members' lounge, private cleaning areas, meeting/banquet rooms, and more) featuring state-of-the-art shooting lanes, bullet traps, targeting systems and - importantly- a ventilation system that actually keeps clean air moving throughout the range. All totaled, the facility totals more than 52,000 square feet.

Insight Shooting Range is a private indoor range located in Artesia, CA. They offer individual lanes, and can accommodate most pistol calibers, as well as shotgun rounds (no slugs) and rimfire rifles.

NO STEEL CASED, STEEL CORE, OR EXPOSED LEAD AMMO. Shotgun ammunition must be purchased from them, but they only stock 12 guage, so if you have a different caliber you can bring your own ammo, no problem.

They offer a large selection of rental firearms, including pistols, shotguns and .22LR rifles. There is a flat fee of $10 to rent a firearm, but you can swap that out as many times as you like without paying another fee. Only range ammunition can be used with rented firearms, but they have reasonable prices on most of the popular calibers.

**Most range ammunition is reloaded, which keeps prices down.

They also sell targets, and provide eye and ear protection free of charge.

A membership is available, but you can also rent a lane for $15 ($18 if you don't buy any range ammo), with a $10 fee for each additional person per lane.

Outdoor range with covering, certain days/times non-members allowed to shoot for free. Other times, must be a member/LEO (Law Enforcement).

The New Mexico Big Horn Gun Club (NMBHGC) was founded by several local black powder shooters in 1977. The club is a non-profit corporation, and is NRA affiliated. Club membership is open to the public, and new members are always welcomed. Our members come from all surrounding communities, including Edgewood, Moriarty, Tijeras, and Albuquerque.

The purpose of the NMBHGC is to promote the shooting sports and to provide safe range facilities for the enjoyment of its membership. The club sponsors various special events and activities throughout the year, including it's annual black powder rendezvous, "The Cache Le Plew," and Cowboy Action and Sporting Clay shoots during the warmer months.

Tulsa Red Castle Gun Club was ranked #1 in the Nation and was awarded the Outstanding Club of the Year in 1988 by the National Rifle Association.

Tulsa Red Castle Gun club has been the #1 National NRA Club Recruiter from 2003 to 2010.

Club facilities include High Powered Rifle Range from 200 to 1000 yards. Bench Rest Range to 200 yards, Pistol Range up to 50 yards, Junior Smallbore and Air Rifle Range (indoor and outdoor), Silhouette Pistol and Rifle Range, 2 Electric Skeet Fields, 20 station Sporting Clay Field, Regular and Wobble Trap Fiels, 2 heated and air-conditioned club houses and Picnic and Family Recreation areas.

Club meetings are the last Monday of each month (Excluding December), with a special dinner meeting each year in January and an annual Club Picnic each May in recognition of Memorial Day.

There are organized competitive shoots for rifle, pistol, shotgun and black powder each
month. Matches for which NRA has programs are NRA certified. Classes for learning how to shoot, Marksmanship instruction and Oklahoma Concealed Carry are available, taught by State and NRA certified instructors, all of whom are club members.

The Monthly Newsletter keeps membership informed of meeting times, special programs, legislation pertaining to firearms laws and any changes in the published Competitions and Events Schedule. These changes can also be found on the Announcements page on the website.

The club is located on the 31,000 acre Zink Ranch, adjacent to Skiatook Lake, 9 miles north of Sand Springs, Oklahoma, on HWY 97.

We have members from many states besides Oklahoma. The club dues are a mere $120 per year, with an initial one time fee of $150. Memberships are 'Family' (i.e. member named on the application, member’s spouse and member’s children under age 18 living in member’s home).
