I was just issued the Gen 4 Glock 17. My prior only Glock is a Glock 26 so unfortunately I cannot compare apples to apples but I find the gun well balanced and extremely easy to shoot. The weapon handles recoil nicely allowing me to quickly re-aquire my target with minimal movement after the shot breaks. I have only put approx. 250 rounds through it but it functions similar to my Glk 26 after approx. 2000 rounds and a complete spring job. I am a fan.

Guys I just completed two reviews one for the Glock 26, 9mm Subcompact pistol, and the second for the Crimson Trace Red Dot I installed on that pistol, if your interested.
Alot of G22 lovers here. I am considering picking one up, I have two 23's and a 27 currently. If I could bring myself to it, I'd standardize with glock as my pistol.
