Many people do not truly understand what this day is all about.  It's true meaning has been lost, except for a very few, over the last 235 years.  It was the birth of our nation.  It is a day that Colonists decided to put their lives at risk to become a nation of Americans.  It set into motion every freedom we, as Americans, enjoy today.  Declaring our independence from tyranny.

To me, today is another day to remember those who have fallen over the last 235 years.  Lets remember what they really gave it all for.  Our freedom.
